This Privacy Policy explains how DearSenda collects, uses and protects your information when you use our platform to send gifts to your loved ones.
1. Who we are
DearSenda is a gift coordination service that helps senders in Nigeria and other locations send curated gifts, flowers, money bouquets and care packages to receivers in supported countries (starting with the United States).
When we say “we”, “us” or “DearSenda” in this policy, we’re referring to the operators of the DearSenda platform, website and official Telegram bot.
2. Information we collect
2.1 Information you provide directly
When you use DearSenda, you may provide the following:
- Sender details: your name, email address, phone/WhatsApp number and any message you send to support.
- Receiver details: their name, country, city/state, delivery address and phone number.
- Request details: gift type, notes, preferences and other information about the gift you want us to coordinate.
- Telegram linking info: if you link your Telegram, we store a token and your Telegram chat ID/username so we can send you updates.
2.2 Payment & transaction information
Payments are processed by third-party payment providers (such as Korapay). We do not store your full card details. However, we may receive and store:
- Payment status (e.g. success, failed, pending).
- Amount paid, currency and reference IDs.
- Limited card or channel information needed for receipts and reconciliation.
2.3 Technical & usage data
When you visit our website or interact with our bot, we may automatically collect:
- IP address, browser type, device type and general location (city/country level).
- Pages visited, time spent, links clicked and actions taken during a session.
- Error logs and diagnostic information to help us improve reliability and security.

We use the information we collect for the following purposes:
- To create, manage and fulfil your DearSenda requests.

7. Telegram & email communications

You can stop Telegram updates at any time by muting/blocking the bot or unlinking Telegram (where supported). You can also request to stop non-essential email communications by contacting us.

We keep your information only for as long as it is reasonably necessary for:
- Fulfilling your DearSenda requests and resolving any issues that arise.
- Maintaining accurate financial and transaction records.
